A challenging project to redevelop an existing textile mill converting into 4 units with new build eco units to the rear.
The planners encouraged a modern design to contrast the stone Mill. The 2 units utilise modern external finishes in timber and steel matching into he industrial design and adjacent woodland. Internally the design provides bright open accommodation on 2 floors with full height fromt glazing giving natural light back into rooms.
The 2 bedroom en suites at GF level are cut back into the original quarry walls with single aspect glazing tot he front. Extensive open plan kitchen living day space is note at FF level open into the pitch of the roof to provide even great feeling of space and light, the windows front and rear provide excellent views across the countryside. Constructed in ICF with energy efficient double glazed windows and doors, super insulated roof this unit is EPC A with modern ASHP providing low energy heating and hot water.
